Friends of Change Islands
 he Friends of Change Islands Association section of the Change Islands website is where individuals, who have an affinity to Change Islands because of birth, are expatriates, currently reside there, or would just like to support this beautiful heritage community can help with the preservation of its material and living cultural heritage. One can be very active or just behind the scenes, supporting activities by providing strategies, opinions, suggestions, material and moral support, etc.
The following are examples of some of the activities that the Association could undertake:
- Restoration or heritage homes and public structures
- Repair, maintenance, and record headstone inscriptions of the old cemeteries
- Establish and maintain a photographic and written record of the heritage buildings
- Help organize and grow the musical and artistic talent in the community
- Establish and maintain a newsletter with articles relating to the culture and history of the community
- Organize an annual special event to celebrate and enjoy the beauty of the Islands and the uniqueness of its residents
- Assist the Town in its endeavours to create employment and reduce out-migration
- Any other activity that the members wish to undertake to assist the community to retain, maintain and grow its culture and heritage
